We believe that a puppy’s GOTCHA Day is a very special day. Picking up your puppy in person is the way that we prefer for our puppies to go home. We want you to get the complete “Smeraglia Experience”.
We LOVE Gotcha Day celebrations, and we have special add-on packages to make your day special. Please email Dana our Concierge at [email protected] to get more details.
Puppy pick-up appointments are done at the Smeraglia family Estate in the beautiful Chapel Barn.

Gotcha Day Pick-ups are available by appointment only
Pick-up appointments should be arranged as soon as you know your schedule. We are available Monday – Friday from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm. Please keep in mind that we schedule our appointments in the Central Time Zone.
Saturday and Sunday are closed for pickups and visits.
• Prep School Pickup appointments are scheduled with your trainer by emailing your trainer.
• Non-Doodle Prep School Puppy appointments are scheduled by calling or emailing ([email protected]) the office (1.251.960.1311)
We can only enroll a few puppies at a time, so reserve your spot early.

If you are coming to visit a puppy that is not being picked up, you will need to come inside the Estate home where the puppies can be visited in a more controlled environment.

• Service Dogs in Training upon graduation will be walked on. All necessary documentation must be completed and updated prior to delivery.

Let us bring your puppy to you. We will drive your puppy to you. Ground Delivery from Alabama to NYC & other locations within the continental U.S. (throughout our mapped route). *Call/Email For Price Quote. The price includes a hard crate.

• International Shipping is for Service & Therapy Dogs Only.
• All puppies shipping overseas are required to have a minimum of 8 weeks of Prep School, meaning they will be at least 16 weeks old when they fly home
• The price of the puppy & Prep School is not included in the shipping price.
• Puppies will be up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.
• Puppies must be spayed or neutered before they are shipped.
• We use Delta’s Pets First Services.
